History

Radnor Nature ParkOriginally known as the Petersen Tract, Radnor Nature Park was acquired by the Township and opened in 2002 after development from open space into a pristine environmental area. The nature park is located off Matsonford Road and nestled between Radnor Elementary School and Harford Park. The proximity of the park to nearby Radnor Elementary allows for the park to serve as a learning tool and asset to the students for years to come. Not only do the well-manicured natural surroundings act as an outdoor laboratory for science exploration, the open space also sparks the creative juices offering a quiet, natural space.
