History

Purchased by the Township through state and federal grants in the 1970’s, Skunk Hollow was once referred to as Montgomery Tract. The Darby Creek Association, which was founded in Radnor, made a push for the Township to acquire the land in order to conserve the natural open space. Skunk Hollow was once the scene of thriving industrial mill sites and dams.
