The Radnor Township Stormwater Fund enables the Board of Commissioners and Township Manager to award contracts for the design and construction of various stormwater management and infrastructure projects: the South Wayne Flood Reduction Project construction has commenced, the West Wayne Preserve Stormwater Management Project is nearing final permitting approval, and the Brookside Road Storm Sewer Replacement Project is substantially complete.  The Township is pleased to announce that the $1.1 million Malin Road Culvert Replacement Project is slated to begin on or about August 1, 2022.   This project will replace the deteriorating culvert, as noted by road subsidence, beneath Malin Road, near Bryn Mawr Avenue.  

Important project information:

• The project will begin on or about August 1, and [weather permitting] is scheduled to be completed by October.
• Due to the extent of excavation and nature of the work, the Malin Road closure will be 24 hours/day, from Bryn Mawr Avenue to just before the first driveway on Malin Road.
• Residents will have to access their streets from the Goshen Road side of Malin Road
• Emergency services, school buses, and trash trucks will access residents from the Goshen Road side of the Malin Road.
• The detour route [from the east] is Bryn Mawr Avenue to Darby Paoli Road to Goshen Road [please see below].
