The Recreation Department is made up of 4 full time staff members as well as:

  • Over 200 seasonal / contracted staff
  • Over 200 seasonal volunteers
  • Internship program for aspiring students
  • Numerous community service opportunities

Tammy Cohen

Director of Recreation & Community Programming

Tammy Cohen has been with the department since 1999 where she previously held the role of Program Coordinator. Tammy has spent her entire career dedicated to the residents of Radnor Township, working to improve the quality of life services they take pride in and enjoy.

Tammy earned her M.Ed. in Sport and Recreation Management from Temple University, and a B.A. in Psychology from Rosemont College. While at Temple University, Tammy earned the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management's Ed Snider Sports Leadership and Excellence Award for accomplishments in both the classroom and in the community.

Her heart is devoted to furthering the Recreation and Community Programming Department's success by continuing to provide endless recreational opportunities and benefits for residents.


Heather DiCanzio

Program Supervisor

Heather has a B.A. in Recreation & Leisure Studies, as well as a B.A. in German Language, from Virginia Wesleyan College. Her concentration for Recreation and Leisure was "Leadership and Administration" due to her desire and passion for teaching, coaching, and leading others through the use of recreational activities. During her senior year she received an award as the "Outstanding Recreation & Leisure Studies Major." In her free time Heather enjoys spending as much time outside as possible. Hiking, gardening, canoeing and swimming are some of her favorite activities. Heather plays in various adult field hockey leagues and is also a volunteer assistant field hockey coach at Immaculata University.


Tracey Krum

Program Coordinator

Tracey has a B.S. in Recreation Park and Tourism Management from The Pennsylvania State University. She went into the community recreation field because she discovered she has a passion for creating memorable moments for people through programming and events. In her free time Tracey enjoys spending as much time with her family as possible. Baking, cooking, and being crafty are some of her favorite activities. Tracey loves coming up with arts and crafts activities for everyone to participate in. Her hope in the position of Program Coordinator is to learn as much as she can and to help make Radnor programs and events amazing year after year.


Natalie Chaiko

Recreation Assistant

Natalie has a B.S. in Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management from Penn State University. She focused on Commercial and Community Recreation Programming due to her love for recreational entertainment and events. In her free time she enjoys finding new trails to hike, watching Penn State football, spending time at Ocean City, NJ, and getting together with family and friends. She hopes to be a new friendly face to the Radnor Community and a resource for all things recreation.
